Norfolk Stoves has been supplying wood & multi-fuel stoves to homes in Norfolk for over 40 years. In 1978, while looking to purchase a woodburner, owners Paul and Lesley realised there was a lack of reasonably priced stoves in the area. They sourced a sensibly priced cast-iron stove for their own home and thought it was so good they decided to start Norfolk Stoves to sell and install the entire range of stoves they’d found during their search. The business outgrew its first premises in Blofield in just a year and moved to Morton-on-the-Hill where it continued to trade for the next 26 years. Eventually, these premises were outgrown too, and Norfolk Stoves was moved a couple of miles away to its current location in Lenwade where it’s been situated for the last 17 years.
Family run from the very beginning in 1978, Paul and Lesley were joined full-time in 2000 by their daughter Georgina and her husband Wayne to help run the busy showroom and installation services. Their other daughter Holly also got involved whenever possible between her university studies and other work and family commitments.
Along with ample car-parking, the larger showroom and premises in Lenwade enables the business to stock and display a huge range of stoves alongside hearths, beams and fireplace accessories. During the colder months there are several live displays and over 80 different models to view making Norfolk Stoves possibly the largest stockists of wood and multi-fuel stoves with the widest range in Norfolk.
