Hobbit SE Multi-Fuel Stove

The Hobbit SE Stove by Salamander Stoves is a compact cast iron multi-fuel stove designed specifically for smaller fireplaces, cottages, cabins and rooms where space is limited. Despite its small dimensions, the Hobbit SE delivers an impressive 4.1kW heat output and can burn seasoned wood, approved smokeless fuels and eco logs, making it a versatile choice for smaller homes and fireplace openings where a conventional stove may simply be too large.

The Hobbit SE is the DEFRA-exempt version of the Hobbit, making it suitable for burning wood in designated Smoke Control Areas when used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. It is also Ecodesign compliant, has achieved clearSkies Level 4, and meets the requirements of the HETAS Cleaner Choice Scheme, combining traditional cast iron styling with modern emissions performance.

Finished in classic flat black as standard, the Hobbit SE is a charming little stove with plenty of character. It also comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty when registered with Salamander Stoves. Its compact proportions make it particularly well suited to traditional cottage fireplaces, small inglenooks, garden rooms and other installations where every centimetre counts.
